Line Up


Line Up.

6x8in oil on canvas board $100.

I wanted to do a simple pear painting. Line 'em up in a row and have at it. Not as easy as I thought it would be. My goal was an artistic one. Separate the light and shadow areas without the usual subtle variations. I ended up with basically an analogous color scheme, blue dominant and range of greens with some orange, the compliment of blue. A cool painting!

    I really like this painting. I like the quiet colors and then the small bits of orange that add warmth. Very nice!
