Blue Jay Nest

I have been busy painting commissioned pieces, 

but this one is for me, 

and is from my art-heart.

I own the nest and the mountain range in the background is where I now live.

This is my first time painting The Sacramento Mountains, NM. 

They are a segment of the southern Rockies and I find them stunning

- especially at sunset

It is a gallery wrapped canvas and I glazed a border on it to give it a more

 finished appearance.

I feel this one captures levels of distance.
