Art Talk
Studio Clutter
After numerous requests for me to start a blog, I have now decided to take the plunge into a whole new part of the internet for me. This being my very first blog I have found that I am quite excited about this process. My goal for this blog (once I get through the trials and errors) will be to incorporate some of the information that is presented in my classes, workshops, and other art experiences.
I have had a marvelous period of exploration, painting with new methods and tools. My work is still realistic as I enjoy trying to bring forth what I see, but you may notice a different approach…or you may not. Lately I have been working on a studio series involving anything that is close to my easel...Studio Clutter.
I am a painter living in Las Cruces, NM. After many years as an illustrator I turned to fine art to develop my own artistic voice. I currently teach talented and enthusiastic artists in oil, acrylic and egg tempera painting. I am also a member of the Artist Guild of Southern New Mexico.
