Another Mustard and Garlic

Mustard and Garlic
6'x8" oil on canvas  Sold.

Artist Note.

I am so busy I decided to
re-post an image
from a  previous post
using the Gray Poupon mustard jar
I have painted it several
times.
This is from Jan 2015.
I find it interesting to see
 the two different approaches.

Still sorting, eliminating or boxing
for either the garage sale
 or keepers.
This is a lot of work!

Thanks for all the helpful hints
on having a garage sale.
All written down for a guideline.
They have given me peace of mind...
well... as much as is possible
at the moment.
Happy I started the process early,
but still so much to do.
My classes prevent a full-time focus,
but also provide a refuge
from it all.

The sale is on Sept 2nd

Nothing as great
as having kind and caring
blogging friends.
Thank YOU!

    1. Cannot remember being to busy for years... but is will quieten down after all the clearing out and getting the house ready to show, is done. The house may not sell for months and months. The hard part will be not to mess it up!

    1. Ha - it is Greys Poupon Dijon mustard. Originally from Dijon, France. White wine is in it. US version is different to yours.
That is one good looking boat you have built. Congratulations.

  10. It's a beautiful painting, Julie. I really like the effect of the dark, reflective foreground. Luscious radishes, captivating Poupon jar, and fresh grren onions -- all delish! By the way, I notice you reveal wonderful colors in your garlic buds, in this and the previous post.

Awfully good luck with your garage sale -- or as we former Brits would pronounce it, "garridge" sale! Keep calm and carry on.

    1. Thanks so much, Helene. Good to know you like it.
Appreciate your good wishes and I LOL at "garridge" sale. Keeping Calm is out of the question until next week! But all my friends tell me it is good to get it all the years of stuff cleared out. Looking forward to that!
