Hydrangeas
8x6' oil primed linen on panel SOLD
Artist Note.
I recently moved and a good friend
brought over a magnificent
Hydrangea plant. Another friend brought
me a Calla Lily plant
so I was in hog heaven painting
both of them.
This was a class demo and went
much easier than the first one!
Any time of the year is a good time to be gifted with beautiful flowers, but it must be especially nice now. How wonderful that you memorialized this thoughtful gift with a gorgeous painting!

It was good to read your dog was on the mend but I REALLY enjoyed seeing your sketchbook.
As always, love this painting. Now, when I walk outside and down the front stairs, (usually go through the garage) I'll think of you.
ReplyDeleteLove to think of you when I look at the Bonnie's feathers, and how neat to know you will be thinking of me.
