I love this spot and have painted
it many times in all types of weather.
The far mountain range,
named the Jemez Mountains,

is also where Los Alamos Laboratories
are located.
From this spot the Jemez range
can appear almost a cerulean blue

ReplyDeleteThese days, via Skype, from Houston to my home, get a great light and Valentina is dressed almost summery ...
(What change from Warsaw where at two in the afternoon now it is night).
I guess better now that light as you describe has very different intensity ,so I understand how much, of snow capped, these Jamez mountains should be stunning.
