Such a beautiful painting, and I love those colors!!! Of course, your fracturing technique makes them even more beautiful! Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteVery very pleasant colors, beautiful as always! Right now I have the same on my easel and I have gone for water colors , love how we can interpret the same subject in different ways.
ReplyDeleteI feel swamped also. What is with that!

ReplyDeleteOh so much more beautiful than Monet's lilies. I love the depth you've achieved just by using color, Julie. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteStunning, Julie!

ReplyDeleteThis would be so amazing on a large canvas!!!!
I love this one--the fresh lively colors and the always gorgeous texture!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Julie, for warming my cold, subzero, day here in Ohio. Beautiful painting. The lily pads lend themselves perfectly to the delicious swipes of the color laden painting knife!

ReplyDeleteThis would surely make anyone think of spring/summertime with fresh color and the sun shining!
ReplyDeleteThese beautiful water lilies burst into my gray day like a blast of sunshine. Thank you Julie. My husband has a lovely Koi pond and I always plan to paint the lilies, what an incentive you have provided.
ReplyDeleteWaterlilies, one of my favorite subjects and you have done them beautifully. Love those colors.
ReplyDeleteDelightful painting that conjures warm remembrances of lilies on the lake. Would you believe I bought a bathing suit last week with wind chills minus degrees? Hope springs, (great image), eternal. Enjoy your well deserved leisure.
ReplyDeleteWho needs Monet when you are painting Julie. So lovely and thank you for thinking of all of us in the cold. Certainly need these water lilies to warm me up. I always love your colors...gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI wonder how you take the comparison with Monet....It is a long time since I looked at your blog ( having lost my husband from cancer last year) but I am pleased with what I saw and read. Your Demo of changes is fantastic, full of informations about value, color, set up,light, above all to be critical and analytic about our own's work.Monique
