ReplyDeleteThank you, Sue. I like your dog painting.
DeleteLooks gorgeous, must smell wonderful!
ReplyDeleteNice you think of the additional benefits to flowers, Nigel.
DeleteThey do smell nice.
Wow, they really sparkle. Magnificent.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nora. Sparkle is what your works have, too.
DeleteDear Julie, you have discovered the secret to paint poems every day even more beautiful! Your wonderful works have already become more complex and maintain lightness and structure.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations for the article that DPW has dedicated
to you and your art!
My hubby loved this comment, Rita. The paint poems really pleased him. Me too. So thank you very, very much.
DeleteYou have painted them so well...your friend is sweet. Trader Joe's looks amazing...I can see why you want one there.
ReplyDeleteI gather you do not have one close either, Lisa.
DeleteLoving your new oil and can't wait to see it finished.
Julie! Every day when I admire your art, it is like I was sitting by my window on a rainy day with a good book...So peaceful and luminous by the same time...Your little gems are soothing! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThank you Andree. I visited you blog and loved what I saw.
ReplyDeleteHi Julie, These paintings do look BIG! I never thought about it until you said that was a goal you have and you have suceeded! If you didn't post the dimensions I would never have guessed the size. Now - to try to buy one before it sells.........!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bruce - good to know you think it works.
DeleteFreesia are my absolute favorite, just love that smell , you made a wonderful painting out of them, and as always I love your vases !
ReplyDeleteJust in case you do not know...Trader Joes is a chain of grocery and wine items and they stock lots of fresh flowers and price them cheap! They sell the freesias all year long and my friend always brings me some because she knows how much I love them.
DeleteI love vases and have quite a collection.
Your paintings are so wonderful and full of life.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Angela, for the very nice complement.
DeleteJulie, today it is the yelows and golds.....the way they travel through the painting. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks Helen. You do notice things. Most people would just notice the blues.
DeleteThis is an outstanding piece, Julie!! I love it!!!!
