Another VERY beautiful painting Julie. I have read back through several of your blogs. I love your artist notes!! Question: Can you describe what "fracturing" is? I can see the outcome, but I am not sure of what you are doing to get it to look that way. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteThis was a ooops on my part....I hit the wrong button.
DeleteSorry Helen and thanks for the nice comment.
Thanks so much Karla for your interest. The fracturing is an ongoing project. Just when I think I am achieving what I want, I find different subject matter changes the whole thing and I have to start once again to figure it out. I want to be sure I am responding emotionally to what I am painting as well as coming up with what I am after. Once I have it figured out I will be doing a step-by-step on Fracturing.
ReplyDeletevery beautiful!
