I had a request for a sister painting to one I did about a week ago.
Same items only rearranged differently.

  1. Julie, this is so lovely. Great complimentary colors and your fracturing technique makes it exciting. Believe it or not, I was in a department store the other day and saw a beautiful turquoise vase and I thought of YOU !

    1. Thanks and I am pleased you think so, but the fracturing is still a little inconsistent. It is trial and error every day, but has definitely become part of my painting process.

  4. I really like those colorful darks. They make the lights pop!
    I'm seriously considering trying one in your fracturing style. I don't have your unique squeegee tool, so it would be the palette knife for me.

    1. You should try it, Dean, if for no other reason than it is fun to explore new techniques. You can buy a shaper already ready for the job. I am too cheap and make my own!
