My Mountains - day 27

My Mountains
6x8in oil on canvas panel $130.

The view from my studio at the "golden hour."
I never get tired of it.
Organ Mountains, Las Cruces, NM.

Artist Note,
Only three more days to go in the challenge.
The Facebook Challenge was on at the same
time and I thank everyone who invited me
to take part. I would have loved
to have participated, but it just would
have been too much on top doing this
challenge PLUS working.

I must be getting old when I cannot
do everything I want to!

Old or sensible!

Sensible is old!

  5. Julie, your work is beautiful and I am such a big fan of yours. My father bought property in NM many years ago, Rio Rancho.. it was all the rage in the 70's. I held on to it, 2 acres. Maybe someday we will return. I understand about face book, someone nominated me a second time, so sorry I accepted. All the best to you, Joan

  9. Old? I can't keep up with you ... I turn my back and you've posted several times! Such a chain of wonderful images!! Woo Hoo!

My youngest granddaughter asked me what it's like to be old? I told her, "I don't know, I haven't been old before, I'll let you know when I find out."

  11. I agree with Kathryn Townsend. It's a wonderfully harmonious painting and I'm truly enjoying the warm colors that you brought into the clouds. It really works well with the green hue within the sky. Beautifully made!
